Yahoo to lay off 2,000 employees to cut costs - 4/4/12

Struggling Internet giant Yahoo is to lay off 2,000 employees, or 14 per cent of its workforce, in an effort to reduce its expenditure.
The biggest payroll purge in Yahoo’s history will help the company save about $375 million.
