14 people killed in northern Afghanistan bomb attack - 4/4/12



At least 14 people, including four US troops, have been killed and more than 25 others injured in a bomb attack in northern Afghanistan.
Local officials said a bomber detonated his explosives in Maimanah, the capital of Faryab Province, on Wednesday as the American troops were filming interviews at a local park.

At least 7 people killed in northeast Nigeria - 4/4/12



Gunmen have opened fire on a crowded market in northeastern Nigeria, leaving at least seven people dead, witnesses and the police say.
According to witnesses, the gunmen first shot an electronics salesman and then they attacked other Igbo traders who sell mosquito nets and other wares.

Fresh clashes in western Libya have claimed the lives of at least 14 people, leaving up to 80 others wounded.
According to the ruling National Transitional Council (NTC), at least 10 people were killed and 45 injured in the towns of Regdalin and Jamil.
